A HUMANITARIAN VISIT TO A LEPROSY-AFFECTED COMMUNITY IN VIZIANAGARAM, ANDHRA PRADESH, INDIA

PMJC Global carried out an outreach visit to a leprosy-affected community in Vizianagaram, located in the northeastern region of Andhra Pradesh in South India, West Asia. Vizianagaram is widely recognized for its rich cultural heritage, strong community identity, and longstanding efforts toward healthcare and social support for vulnerable populations.

The outreach was organized to extend compassion, encouragement, and practical support to individuals and families living within the colony, many of whom continue to experience social and economic challenges associated with leprosy and related stigmas.
Throughout the visit, the outreach team spent meaningful time interacting with residents, sharing conversations, encouragement, and moments of connection that reflected warmth, dignity, and mutual appreciation.
