4.0 The Incredible Transformative Power of Worship.
4.1 First Testimony of Worship
Life was tough, and I needed a change. God led me to a new state and a new church. One day, during a Bible study, the pastor spoke about Thanksgiving, praise, and worship. I had heard these concepts before, but this time they resonated with me differently. Sometimes we know things intellectually, but we don’t truly live them.
Being new to the state, I searched for a prayer mountain. I wasn’t looking for a place to pray for things; I sought somewhere to worship God. On Friday, I decided to take a day off work. I went to the prayer mountain alone, praising God and marvelling at His beauty.
After accepting Jesus, I experienced the gifts of the Holy Spirit, such as speaking in tongues and hearing God’s voice. However, due to sin, I lost these gifts. No matter how hard I tried—through fasting and praying—I couldn’t reclaim them. That Friday, around 5 PM, God manifested in Spirit. Without me asking, He restored my gifts. I began speaking in tongues once again and was able to hear Him.
What happened next was beyond mere spiritual renewal. I had been expecting one check but instead received two. When I called to clarify, I learned both checks were indeed mine. Worship brings unexpected blessings because it is what God desires from us.
4.2 Second Testimony of Worship
After my first experience, I felt inspired to plan a three-day worship event instead of a prayer marathon. Since the prayer mountain closed at night, I booked a hotel. I took a vacation from work, and my employer soon recognized me as one of their top workers, awarding me reward points. I used these points to book a room at the Sheraton Hotel for $79 per night.
When I arrived at the hotel, the front desk clerk upgraded me to an executive room at no extra cost, telling me it was a special gift. The room felt like a palace. When I returned to thank him, he was nowhere to be found. The staff insisted that no black man worked there. My journey to worship rewarded me in ways I could never have imagined. Make worship a regular habit in your life.
4.3 Third Testimony of Worship
Experiencing miracles from worship only fueled my desire for more. Instead of celebrating my birthday on May 11 with a party, I organized seven days of worship in Africa. I took a month off work and, unexpectedly, received funds that helped finance my trip. I spent six days at Ekeji Arakeji Prayer Mountain in Osun State, Nigeria, and planned to spend the last day at my home church in Lagos.
Despite warnings about mosquitoes, I kept my promise and worshipped. Upon returning, God called me to ministry. Two people, one in Africa and another abroad, confirmed this calling within minutes of each other. I prayed for three days, and God revealed the name of the ministry: The Prophetic Ministries of Jesus Christ. My lawyer confirmed that no other ministry in America held that name.
I left America as an ordinary church member and returned as the visionary of PMJC Global Ministry. Worship transforms lives, turning nothing into something. This journey showed me that true worship is about giving oneself fully to God without expecting anything in return. It is about recognizing His greatness and surrendering to His will. Worship can change not only our circumstances but also our hearts and minds. It brings us closer to God and aligns our lives with His purpose. Making worship a central part of my life has brought unexpected blessings and profound transformation.
